Our summer camp program in Denver is led by the color magician, Batik, Mosaic and clay master, and world traveler, Ippy Farnam! Ippy is a local professional artist in Denver and a master teaching artist for over twenty years. We also offer summer Yoga and art workshops and mini-camps in Central New York through the Skaneateles Community Center and YMCA led by CNY native, lover of bones, flowers and humanity in general, Warner K. Varno. Warner has been a professional master teaching artist for over fifteen years.
Time for Art’s Best of Both summer camp has been running in Denver for over 10 years now and is a six hour, four or five day camp that fully utilizes our local cultural centers as environments of inspiration! While teaching young artists the art of Yoga and sketchbook technique in the mornings, we expose artists to a variety of art media to create a project in the afternoons. These camps run at the Denver Art Museum and the Denver Botanic Gardens.
We now offer an ECE component, our Art and Music in the Garden summer camp at the Denver Botanic Gardens. This camp is led by the child mesmerizing, song bird and local musician Liat Sara Arochas and fuses together movement, music and art. Liat is a long time music and movement teacher at Denver’s Early Childhood Center at the Jewish Community Center in Denver, CO. The Art and Music camp runs three hours a day, 9-11 AM, Monday-Thursday and is held entirely at the Denver Botanic Gardens.
